The Island Constitution

Island of Wellen Official Record

"In the way to establish a more peaceful union, we agree to solve problems responsibly, treat each other with respect, and vote for our own beliefs. The following Articles will explain exactly how we will do these things to better the community."

Article I: Legislative and Fiscal Policy

Section I: Voting Procedures

Voting requires ¾ of all the people to vote in favor of the bill going through the government to be passed. This makes everyone’s voice feel heard and gathered for the decision.

Section II: National Taxation

Taxes are defined as 10% of any increase in valuable items. This includes but is not limited to: Diamonds, Redstone, Coal, Iron, Copper, Lapis, Netherite, Gold, and Ancient Debris. The taxes from this will go towards public funding and be held safely in the treasury for later use or to fix economic issues. If people have amounts that go to decimals or fractions, then the tax will be rounded to the highest whole number.

Article II: Executive and Judicial Code

Section I: Presidential Elections

The presidential election will be held every 75 Days and the majority of the people will need to vote to elect a president. The president will then select 2 members of the 3 in Congress.

Section II: Justice and Penalties

Crimes and Felonies will result in trial by a judge, prison time, and in extreme circumstances, execution and deportation.

Section III: Executive Powers

Presidents are allowed one pardon per term. A president can only serve 2 terms in a row.
